  thank you for your question. Please understand that I cannot analyze schools or DBA programs here: Apart from my limited time, it is necessary that the future DBA students do this properly by themselves so that they make a good decision afterard. I do provide advice as for the criteria to select schools, however.

  As a starting point, you should determine if you want to hold the German Dr. after your studies. For this, you need a program whose degree-granting institution is recognized officially by the respective country. You can find this out (e.g., about CIBU) via the platform anabin.

  Second, I recommend you to carefully read my three "How you find the right DBA program?" articles. Some of the criteria, mentioned there, may not be relevant for you - but it's good to have them in mind when you consider a school.

  • Please note that the AACSB accreditation is not relevant for the acknowledgement of the German Dr. It only provides a guarantee that the program follows international standards in management education (similar to MBA programs).

  Third, a key question is what you want to with the DBA... Do you want to teach? Where? In that case it would be good to clarify before if your future teaching school knows about your DBA school (e.g. CIBU). You mentioned Strategy Management Consulting Firms...In that case, I would clarify in advance (e.g., by talking to your potential future employer), to what extent a DBA and a DBA at your target school would help you get a job offer.

  These are just inspirations that hopefully help you move on.
