Chance of Getting Admitted to Durham DBA
Admissions to a doctoral program

Hi,
I like how the Durham DBA is structured in such a way that students need to only attend classes in 3 day blocks per year. I have about 5 years of project management experience in a construction company.
I understand the average DBA student is 42. Since I am only 29 and my Master's degree is a MSc Construction Project Management, I would like to know if I stand a chance to be accepted.
Also, is their intake annually? I have most probably missed the intake for this year.
I have also emailed the admission team, but they have yet to reply after 1 week.
Thank you for your time.

Hi there,
these are indeed questions that you ned to ask the Durham team directly. By phone (why not just calling them?) or by email. If they don't reply in an acceptable time frame it may be a signal of bad quality. Does this mean, for example, that any question i the future will be answered only after weeks? Not good. In this case, however, I would give them another week, if I was you. Universities are not businesses and sometimes it just takes a bit more til they react.
As for the requirements, they just ask for a Master and 3 years of experience. I am sure you will be fine therefore.
Best wishes,
