    Dear Thomas,

    I have read a post of yours saying IE DBA had recently become an official Doctorate in Spain?
    What has changed and what is the current status please?
    Are IE DBA degree holders entitled to use the "Doctor" title in Spain?

      Hi there,

      IE has gone though a Spanish accredition process for their doctoral programs in the last 10 years. As a consequence, these programs have been re-designed according to the "Bologna criteria" (European Union criteria) and the degrees are granted from IE University (and not only from the IE Business School).

      The PhD, therefore, is official now meaning it is equal to a Spanish official doctorate. The DBA, I am not 100% sure. It would be very helpful if you ask the IE DBA team directly and let us know their answer here.
