Do I need the GMAT?
Admissions to a doctoral program

Hola, this is Cris from Spain. My question is: Do I need the GMAT when applying for a DBA? Tx soooo much!

Hi Cris,
it depends. Many business schools require the GMAT and many do not require it. It may be a selection criterion for a DBA program as the GMAT requirement may indicate that the school is good and selective.
Of course, there may be good schools that do not require the GMAT. But the GMAT is not easy and when a school requires it it signals that the quality of the DBA students is important for them. For you this may mean that you have to swallow the GMAT pill - but also that you eventually end up in a great program with great fellow students.
Best wishes,
