What did you do before this Doctor of Business Administration?
I worked in corporate, in Information Technology services consulting as a delivery director responsible for the delivery of large-scale strategic global projects.
Why did you decide to do this DBA?
I decided to do a DBA in order to find credible robust answers to real-world business problems. To equip myself with the tools to be able to provide cutting-edge solutions to dynamic business problems.
Why did you choose the ISM School of Management?
For me, Cranfield School of Management was the natural choice given that I had done a series of executive management courses and Cranfield being amongst the world leaders in applied learning and thought leadership in my area of expertise.
What did you experience during the program?
A paradigm shift. A seismic shift in my thought process and my conceptualisation of the world.
How did you benefit from the program?
The programme heightened my analytical and critical thinking skills which are very relevant and transferable to the business world in which I operate. In addition, it earned me credibility in my personal and professional endeavours. Career advancement, shortly after the programme, I joined the board of one of the leading European business transformation and digital providers, amongst one of the first black women to be in such a position in the UK.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
Certainly. As I have done so in the recent past. I would recommend the programme for any manager looking to make an impact first on self and then in the organisation’s in which they operate. Either a full-time employee looking to make their career advancement or as an independent consultant looking to provide well thought out world-class advice to their client base.
