Financial aid

We have historically awarded up to $10,000 in scholarships to second-year Executive PhD students once they have proven themselves in the program.

In addition, we currently offer our executive students $2,000 in Research Funds to assist them during their dissertation year.

Accreditation

The OSU Spears School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s or doctoral degrees in business and accounting.

AACSB Accreditation is the largest and most recognized specialized accreditation worldwide. AACSB Accreditation is considered a standard for quality in business education, and it is earned by less than five percent (5%) of the world’s 16,000 schools worldwide.

Spears Business is one of only 182 institutions worldwide that have received AACSB accreditation for both the business school and the accounting program, and there are only two such institutions in Oklahoma.

Our Executive PhD graduates become better leaders who are able to bring more value to their organizations. The Executive PhD program at Oklahoma State University equips executives to take advantage of emerging opportunities by teaching them how to apply both quantitative and qualitative analysis to make evidence-based decisions. An interesting phenomenon has occurred over the past couple of years. Our Executive PhD graduates have become very attractive to research universities who want faculty with the unique combination of an AACSB accredited PhD degree and several decades of real world experience.
