What did you do before the DBA?
I am German who has worked in many countries and has taken on several challenges in innovation management. This professional path has connected me with multiple great mentors around the world who have DBAs and who lead successful professional lives and are motivated to learn continuously as they improve their business practices. These people inspired me to search for a business school and a program that focuses on technology and innovation within a multicultural environment and a global marketplace and offers a reputable Doctorate of Business Administration program accredited by official and international standards.
Why the DBA at Grenoble Edcole de Management?
This is how I decided to enter the DBA program at Grenoble Ecole de Management. Thanks to its three international accreditations, EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB, and its partnerships and joint degree programs with business schools around the world, it stood out to me as exemplary in offering the opportunity to develop a cross-cultural, global atmosphere for business, and it followed my professional aims.
What was your experience during the program?
Undertaking a DBA was an exciting journey. Yet, there have been challenges on both professional and personal levels because obstacles naturally appeared during the course of my thesis’s development. Fortunately, my supervisor and the DBA program director offered me their constant guidance during the development and writing of my DBA thesis. Their esteemed direction and motivation supported me continuously throughout the program. Moreover, the involved faculty members from Grenoble Ecole de Management offered advisory support through incisive questions that challenged me to extend my perspective as I navigated multiple obstacles.
What did you learn?
While doing my DBA, I was able to extend my capabilities in management sciences and to become an inspired guest lecturer at international business schools, an award-winning blogger for innovation management, and a World Economic Forum Agenda contributor. Moreover, I have been able to take on tasks with an increasing degree of impact on my overall job performance in innovation management.
